What do these CBD detox capsules taste like?
Cleanse is made with neutral-tasting ingredients in a 100% vegetarian capsule, so there is very little flavor. Now and then you may notice a faint toasted, espresso-like note from the wild chaga, or a mild earthy note from the activated charcoal.
What’s inside Cleanse?
Four primary ingredients, plus our usual absorption helpers:
Activated charcoal
Making activated charcoal starts with heating carbon-rich materials like wood, peat, coconut shells, or sawdust to extreme temperatures, which creates charcoal, an almost pure form of carbon. It is then “activated” with treatments of oxygen, steam, carbon dioxide, and certain acids, which makes it very fine and porous. Its large surface area is what makes activated charcoal so absorbent.
Dandelion root
Dandelions? Who knew those pesky lawn weeds were so high in antioxidants and rich in vitamins, especially A and C. And ring ring, spinach: iron is calling to say it is hanging out with dandelion too. That is right, dandelion root is also high in iron.
Chaga mushroom
Inonotus obliquus, better known as chaga (or clinker polypore, or cinder conk), is a nutrient and antioxidant-dense superfood found on birch trees. Chaga hardly looks like a mushroom: it is usually disguised as a dark, conch-shaped piece of bark, black in color and sometimes compared to charcoal. It carries a wide range of vitamins, minerals, and nutrients that make it a great daily superfood your gut will love.
When to take CBD detox capsules
Reach for Cleanse whenever you want a fresh reset, for example after an indulgent stretch. It is a detox-inspired blend of charcoal, dandelion, and chaga, made to be a simple, natural part of your routine.
