Mushroom Matcha | Meet Mind Matcha
Mind Matcha starts with organic ceremonial-grade matcha, made from young shade-grown tea leaves and stone-ground into a vibrant green powder. We blend it with creamy coconut milk, Lion’s Mane and Cordyceps extracts, and natural vanilla for a smooth, balanced cup with gentle earthiness and subtle sweetness. Enjoy it whisked traditionally or over ice with milk for a rich matcha latte.
What does CBD Matcha taste like?
Matcha is a finely powdered green tea leaf known for its bright green color and smooth, vegetal flavor. High-quality matcha often has a lightly sweet aroma balanced with the natural grassy notes of young tea leaves.
For Mind Matcha, we selected ceremonial grade organic matcha, a designation typically used for matcha prepared in traditional tea ceremonies. Ceremonial grade matcha is produced from the youngest tea leaves, with stems and veins removed, resulting in a smoother and more vibrant cup than lower-grade culinary matcha. To create a more rounded and creamy profile, Mind Matcha also includes organic coconut milk powder and natural vanilla flavor.
These ingredients soften matcha’s natural astringency and introduce a subtle toasted coconut sweetness. We also include Lion’s Mane and Cordyceps mushroom extracts, two functional mushrooms traditionally used in herbal wellness preparations. Their flavor contribution is mild and earthy, blending naturally with the tea.
Mind Matcha can be enjoyed as a traditional whisked tea, but its creamy base also makes it excellent over ice or blended into a matcha latte.

What is Matcha?
Matcha means “finely powdered tea.” It is produced from young leaves of the tea plant Camellia sinensis, which are shade-grown before harvest.
During cultivation, farmers typically cover the tea plants for several weeks before harvesting. This shading process encourages the plant to produce more chlorophyll and amino acids, giving matcha its vibrant green color and smooth flavor.
Unlike traditional teas where leaves are steeped and removed, matcha leaves are stone-ground into a fine powder. When you drink matcha, you consume the entire leaf, which results in a more concentrated tea experience.
Matcha is traditionally whisked into hot water, though it is also widely used in lattes, smoothies, and other beverages.
What’s more, instead of the leaves being rolled, shaped and dried like traditional tea leaves, Matcha tea leaves are dried and then ground in a slow-turning mills resulting in the fine green tea powder. Generally, matcha is then whisked into hot water or steamed milk. Matcha tends to have more caffeine than other green teas and black tea, because of how much more concentrated you get the beverage (mixed powder vs. brewed leaves).
What is a matcha or tea ceremony?
The matcha tea ceremony was often taken up by the Samurai class and high ranking members in society. The tea ceremony, also known as The Way of Tea or chanoyu in Japanese, is still practiced today. It is centered around the art of preparing and serving tea, and involves unique tradition for both host and guest. Originally developed as a spiritual practice, where the guest leaves the concerns of the outside world behind, then crawls on hands and knees into the home, a practice known as nigiri guchi, the original principals still very important to the tea ceremonies today.
The ceremony is intended to invoke an atmosphere of intimacy, where the participants share a sense of equality and are present with one another.
What are the benefits of Mighty Matcha?
Matcha contains naturally occurring plant compounds known as catechins, which are a type of antioxidant found in green tea. Because matcha is made from the whole leaf, it provides a more concentrated form of these compounds compared with brewed green tea.
Matcha also naturally contains caffeine and L-theanine, an amino acid commonly found in tea leaves.
Our new Mind Matcha also includes Lion’s Mane and Cordyceps extracts, mushrooms traditionally used in herbal preparations and functional foods.
When should I drink Mighty Matcha?
Since Matcha is a green tea that contains caffeine, we suggest drinking it in the morning as a coffee replacement or as a pick me up in the middle of the day.
