When we started The Apothecary back in 2016, we were two brothers in Oregon obsessed with one question: how do you make a wellness product that is actually clean, actually works, and actually tastes like something you would want to use every day? That obsession became The Brothers Apothecary, our teas, our honey, our capsules, our gummies, and our drink mixes, all made by hand in small batches.
Over the years, something kept happening. Other founders would find us, try our products, and ask the same thing: “Could you make ours?” At first we said no, we were busy building our own brand. But the question never stopped, and honestly, it lit us up every time. So we are finally saying yes. We are opening our workshop, and our formulas, to you.
Today we are proud to offer small-batch private label and white label manufacturing for wellness brands. The same care we have poured into our own products for nearly a decade is now available to help you create yours.
What small-batch private label manufacturing means to us
Most manufacturers want you to fit into a template and order tens of thousands of units before they will take your call. That has never been us. We are a boutique production house, not a giant co-packer, and we treat your formulation like our own. That means real custom formulation and R&D, low minimums so you can validate an idea before you scale, and a dedicated person who actually knows your project.
We are also FDA Registered and Oregon Department of Agriculture registered, with GMP-aligned production, batch records, and full ingredient traceability on every run. Your proprietary recipes are protected by NDA before any work begins. And while we started in the hemp world, the vast majority of what we make today is CBD-free by default, which gives your brand the widest possible retail access. (Cannabinoids are available and fully compliant if you need them, of course!)

Why we are doing this
We believe the world is better with more small, thoughtful brands in it, not fewer. For a long time, the barrier to making a genuinely high-quality, healthy, wholesome product was simply too high for most people with a great idea. We want to lower that barrier. We want to help more makers create the small-batch products of their dreams, the way we got to create ours.
