  • 1 Tbsp dried culinary lavender
  • 2 Tbsp Chocodelic Trip
  • 1 Tbsp Wild Rosin CBD Honey
  • 1/2 Tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch of sea salt
Instructions:

In a small pot, bring your milk just to boiling.

Add dried lavender and cover; let steep for 10 minutes.

Magic Hot Cocoa

This might just be the most calming drink on planet earth. There’s something so nostalgic about a mug of hot cocoa. Even a whiff of hot chocolate brings me right back to those winter days of my childhood, when I’d wake up to a blanket of snow outside my window and know two things: school was cancelled, and mom would make me some Swiss Miss!

We’ve given the classic hot cocoa a major upgrade with some CBD courtesy of our Wild Rosin CBD Honey & Chocodelic Trip Adaptogenic CBD Cocoa and calming lavender. Read on for how to make it!*

The Perfect Midnight Snack

CBD’s calming, anxiety-busting and sleep-promoting benefits have been well documented.

In fact, CBD has been proven to not only help you fall asleep, but also stay asleep longer and get better quality sleep. CBD stimulates the endocannabinoid system, which plays a huge role in regulating sleep patterns. This means that, with CBD you can feel more rested even with fewer actual sleep hours logged.

Some research indicates that CBD may even promote more REM sleep – the type of deep sleep that gives you the rest your body really craves. While many people use lavender in aromatherapy to relax and drift into sleep, some research now shows that lavender can help with insomnia and anxiety. The combo of calming lavender with potent CBD makes this hot cocoa the perfect before-bed treat!*

Brothers Lavender Hot Cocoa Hack

You might remember that Brothers actually makes our own hot cocoa mix with a little help from the Wezz Team. Our Peppermint Chocolate Trip is a CBD hot cocoa with 100mg of CBD per package. For a quick hot cocoa fix, you’ll need one package of Peppermint Chocolate Trip, 1 cup of your milk of choice, and 1 Tbsp of dried culinary lavender. Just like in the first recipe, start by bringing your milk to just boiling. Add the dried lavender and cover, steep for 10 minutes, then strain. Mix in 2 Tbsp of Peppermint Chocolate Trip, and top with your favorite toppings!*
