Morning Chocodelic Trip Cacao Elixir

  • 1 tbsp of Chocodelic Trip
  • 1 tsp raw cacao powder
  • 8 oz hot water
  • 1 tbsp raw cacao butter
  • 2 tbsp coconut milk

Morning Chocodelic Trip Cacao Elixir

A morning Cacao Elixir? Sure, it may not sound like the go-to breakfast beverage, but this is the perfect way to start your morning. Drinking cocoa in the morning  is not only a sweet treat to start your day, but it can be great for your body and mind.

Don’t get us wrong. A lot of store-bought cocoas, or coffee-stand Mocha’s, are packed with artificial ingredients, sugar, flavorings, and highly processed ingredients. They’re ultra-sweet, with popular options having as much as 35 grams of sugar in the medium cup. The goal with a healthy morning cocoa is low sugar, powerful synergistic ingredients, and energy. With this combination, cocoa (and cacao, which is the less-processed, higher nutritional value remnants of cocoa beans) can help stimulate energy, perking you up in the morning without the risk of caffeine or sugar crashes.

Our Chocodelic Trip Cacao Elixir is a superfood-boosted version of our Chocodelic Trip. It’s an amazing healthy play on the tastiest morning beverage.

First, we start with our special cocoa mix, which includes 10 adaptogenic mushrooms, Dutch cocoa, fair-trade and organic Madagascar vanilla, and a touch of organic cane sugar. Next, Cacao Powder and Cacao Butter are added, both of which are super rich in antioxidants and nutrients. Together, this makes the perfect pick-me-up, be it in the morning or in the afternoon.

Here are some cool facts about the ingredients:

  • Chocodelic Trip combines 10 adaptogenic mushrooms, including Reishi, Cordyceps, Lion’s Mane, Chaga, Turkey Tail, Maitake, Shiitake, Blazei, Agarikon, and Mesima Sang-Huang.
  • Cacao Butter is the unprocessed fat extracted from cocoa beans. It is packed with antioxidants, fats, and nutrients. Because the nutrients aren’t eliminated by heat, like common “cocoa” butter, Cacao also has a positive effect on the immune system.
  • There is no butter or dairy in Cacao Butter, and it doesn’t have a particularly buttery flavor. It also smells very chocolatey, but doesn’t have a chocolate flavor.
