CBD Matcha Lemonade

Ingredients:
  • 9 Cups of Water
  • 1 Tablespoon of Mighty Matcha
  • 1 Cup Sugar (or Sweetener of Choice)
  • 1 Cup of Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice
Instructions:

1. Juice your lemons! I recommend using a citrus juice. It helps get the most out of your lemons and super easy to use and clean. For the recipe you will 1 cup of lemon juice (2-3 lemons depending the size).
2. Large Sauce-Pan, dissolve the Sugar into 3 cups of Water. This makes a really easy and quick simple syrup. Bring mixture to a boil.
3. Remove Simple Syrup from heat and add in your sifted Matcha. This makes turns your regular simple syrup into a matcha simple syrup! 
4. In a pitcher or glass vessel, add your lemon juice and 6 cups of water. Mix Together.
5. Add in your Matcha Simple Syrup Mixture. Stir.
6. Once incorporated let it cool in the fridge for about 2 hours.
7. Add Ice and Serve.

The Summer Sizzle: CBD Matcha Lemonade

Yields: 9 cups of Matcha Lemonade, Approx. 18 Matcha Lemonade Popsicles.

This delicious and refreshing drink will have kick start your summer fun! It’s not only super refreshing but it gives you that matcha energy kick. Made with ceremonial grade matcha (though culinary grade can work too!), the end-product is sweet, complex, and an anti-oxidant energy boost!

Lemonade is the summer staple to any BBQ, hang out, or porch drinks party (or now, for social distancing picnics with family and friends), so even if you haven’t fallen in love with matcha yet, this recipe will be familiar and perfect for your summertime hangouts.

  • 1 Tbsp sifted matcha powder
  • ½1 cup sweetener of choice, to taste

CBD Matcha Lemonade… Popsicles?

Pour the mixture into a mold (we like these ones) and let it sit in the freezer for 6-8 hours (overnight is best).

Once they are frozen, take them out of the freezer, letting them sit at room temperature for a couple of minutes. This will make it easier to remove them from the mold.

For easy storage, remove them from the mold and wrap in parchment paper and putting them in a freezer bag. This will help with storage and help keep them longer.
